At 47-13, it is the Rockets that enter tonight with the best record in the NBA and have won 13 games in a row. They easily dusted off the resurgent Jazz at Utah on Monday and visit fierce rival Clippers tonight. LA has been a resurgent team as well, currently occupying the 9th spot in the Western Conference, just a half game behind the Nuggets for the last playoff spot. The Clippers have down this despite numerous injuries and various personnel changes via trades and enter tonight having won 4 of their last 5 after going a successful 5-2 on their recent road trip. THe last time these rivals faced off, there was a heated confrontation post game to go along with extremely scrappy play during the game. Nevertheless, the teams are a bit different this time with Blake Griffin no longer with LA and some new faces as well. Tyrone Wallace, Jawun Evans, Avery Bradley and Danilo Gallinari will not suit up tonight for the hosts while Ryan Anderson is out for the visitors. As much as the Rockets are seeking revenge, the situation just doesn't seem to present itself for us as the Rockets are heavily favored even at LA and perhaps they are more concerned with just getting through the game unscathed. The Clippers are also back from a long road trip and just played at elevation so we expect maybe a bit of a slow start for them. On that note, the Rockets played at elevation themselves on Monday as they are coming from Utah. All things considered, this is a few points too many!
The Wizards picked up a nice win against a tough Milwaukee Bucks team last night as they jumped out to an early lead and were able to hang on 107-104. This marked their 5th win in their last 6 games and 10th in their last 13 since John Wall went down with an injury. The Warriors have won 6 of their last 7 and are coming off a 125-111 win over the tanking Knicks on Monday. This is a tough spot for the Wizards but they are one of the better defensive teams and very adept at defending the 3 which the Warriors are heavily reliant on. Hosts to keep it within single digits.
Two of the worst teams meet tonight as the 18-41 Memphis Grizzlies host the 18-44 Phoenix Suns. Both teams enter tonight with identical 10 game losing streaks with the Suns just 1 win in their last 16 and the Grizzlies 1 win in their last 13. It's obviously frustrating for anyone in this situation but even more so for veteran Marc Gasol who's used to winning and expressed his displeasure vocally today. Wayne Selden, Tyreke Evans, Chandler Parsons and Deyonta Davis have all been ruled out for today leaving the Grizzlies in the familiar spot of being shorthanded. The Suns will be without Tyson Chandler, Tyler Ulis with TJ Warren questionable. There is no denying that both teams are tanking but we expect full effort from the hosts after Gasol's comments and for Gasol to lead the way as Evans is sidelined. The Suns will have to rely on Alex Len to do most of the defending which we believe he is not equipped to do. Don't expect much of a homecourt advantage as some seats were going for as low as $2 but still we believe the hosts get it done.
The Hornets have shown new life post All-Star break as they won their 5th consecutive game yesterday, a 118-103 victory over the Chicago Bulls. The Celtics have won their 3 games in the 2nd half of the season and are coming off a 109-98 win over the Grizzlies on Monday. Dwight Howard played through a rib issue yesterday and is considered probable for tonight while Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Cody Zeller are questionable. Daniel Theis is the only absence for the hosts aside from of course, Gordon Hayward. This is a matchup that the Hornets traditionally do well in and their play has been spectacular lately, especially from their bench which had been a complete no show all year. Howard might be hampered by an injury but he is still a force inside and will be difficult to deal with for the Celtics. We're going to chance it on the moneyline!
San Jose St enters this game at 3-24 overall and winless in 16 games in conference play. The Spartans have done well to cover the spread 7 out of their last 10 times but just 5 of their 16 conference losses have come by 8 points or less. The Spartans will of course be desperate for a win but we doubt they can stay competitive against good shooting Aggies team. If anything, we believe they could pull of the upset in their regular season finale against Air Force but for matters pertaining to this game, the Aggies should dominate from start to finish!
It's been a mediocre season for Wyoming as they enter this game at 9-7 in the Mountain West but are coming off an impressive 78-68 win at Fresno St over the weekend. Air Force managed to battle the same Fresno St team on Monday losing by a final score of 54-48, but have lost 4 of their last 5 and sit in 9th place in the conference at 5-11. The Falcons shouldn't be too fazed by the elevation as they themselves play at 2200 m above sea level. But their lack of height puts them at a severe disadvantage on the boards and their 3 pt defense is one of the worst in the country. Cowboys should put this one away early.
Well if you went along with us and took East Carolina +24 last game, with the closing line at +21 no less, you were disappointed to say the least as Houston completely decimated the Pirates 109-58 in a complete laugher. We have to wonder if expending that kind of energy was the best course of action with this tough game tonight on deck. SMU is still without Shake Milton (18.0 ppg) but this is still a dangerous team that gave Wichita St a battle over the weekend. Final home game of the regular season for the Mustangs against a rival, we believe this is a last possession type of game.
By now, you should know our view on Texas A&M and how highly we view them. Georgia, on the other hand, has vastly underperformed this year although once it appeared the season was lost, they have seemed to found a new level. The Bulldogs have won 3 of their last 4, including impressive wins over Florida and Tennessee. Still, this is simply too much respect against an Aggies team that we view as head and shoulders above. We fully expect the Bulldogs to fall back into their bad habits and stagnate on offense against one of the best defenses in the country. Visitors to cover this small line.
HERE IS A PREMIUM BET WE RECOMMENDED THIS MORNING TO SUBSCRIBERS, ODDS DOWN A BIT BUT THAT'S THE WAY IT IS IN THE CHEAP SEATS! -----------Irina-Camelia Begu leads head to heads 2-1, albeit those matches took place in 2014 and were played on clay. In the first round we thought Begu struggled for a long time to get past Christina McHale, and we are really of the opinion that the American should have beaten her. In fact, it turned out to be a match of mistakes and we wouldn’t over rate the form. We had Veronica Cepede Royg on our list to bet against Belinda Bencic, but for one reason or the other we stayed away from the match. While Bencic is clearly struggling, we thought this match was better quality than the the other. The girl from Paraguay is certainly capable of better than she had been playing before this tournament, and we believe she’s got a big chance of another upset here.
WE ARE FLYING WITH OUT TENNIS BETS THIS WEEK - HERE IS ONE OF OUR FIVE PREMIUM BETS FOR FREE. ALTERNATIVELY YOU CAN JOIN OUR PAID SERVICE FOR €100 PER MONTH OR €400 TO END OF NOVEMBER (9 MONTHS) - BETTING.ANALYSTT@GMAIL.COM ---- Working mother Kateryna Bonderenko came from a set down to beat Evgeniya Rodina in the first round here. However, we don’t believe that performance is anything to be proud of, because according to the bookies odds she was expected to deliver in straight sets. And, that’s the thing with Bondarenko, she makes hard work of winning what should be straightforward matches, and that’s why she’s begging to be taken on at these odds. Whether Richel Hogenkamp is good enough to beat the Ukrainian remains to be seen, but their was a lot to like about her win against Alison Riske. In fact, we thought the 25 year old dug really deep to come back from a set down and defy similar odds to today. Hogenkamp has a good record at this level of tennis, and even if she can’t beat her opponents she should still get within the h’cap!

Back to back championship winners FC Copenhagen are just fourth in the league, and a full 21 points behind Midtjylland. In fact, the Lions are just 4 points above todays opponent Hobro, and on the road Stale Solbakken’s side are a pathetic 2-2-6. It’s been an ultra disappointing season for Copenhagen, and they couldn’t even land odds of a.35 in the reverse fixture (0-0). It’s fair to point out that Hobro have only managedone point from three games since the league resumed. However, in the last round they only lost (1-2) to the league to leaders Midtjylland, and to be analytical they had more chances that their opponent. While their is an argument to suggest their is no excuse for missing chances in that game, we believe their was a valid reason. Afterall, leading scorer Paal Kirkevold was forced out with a one match ban, and so was influential midfielder Vito Hammershoy-Mistrati. Had those two players been available their is a good chance that Thomas Thomasberg’s side would have got a result. Odds are simply hard to understand!
The Pistons have moved backwards since trading for Blake Griffin as they are now 1-6 in their last 7 and are coming off back to back blowout losses at Charlotte and Toronto. Griffin certainly can't receive all the blame as coach Stan Van Gundy appears to have very few options besides Griffin and Andre Drummond and their bench has been abysmal during this stretch. Still, they get a favourable matchup against the Bucks who lack a real inside presence and will be playing on a back to back. We expect Van Gundy to dirty up the game and play extremely physical against a Bucks team that might not have their legs tonight. Bucks are still very thin at the guard position and still too reliant on one player! Hosts to cover this small spread.
