The Pistons got a much needed win last nght against the Kings behind a strong effort from Blake Griffin. The playoffs are likely out of reach but it does appear the team is making one last push and they do get a relatively easy slate of opponents down the stretch. The Suns are competing for the top draft pick in this year's draft and have done well in that regard, losing 18 of their last 19 games. To make matters worse (or better), the Suns will be without TJ Warren tonight and Devin Booker and Tyson Chandler are both doubtful. The Pistons will likely have Reggie Jackson out there tonight, returning from an injury though he will be on a minutes restriction. We like the Pistons to carry over some of the momentum from last night and dominate inside with their big men. Visitors by margin.
WINNER WINNER - ANOTHER ONE WINS FOR YOU GUYS HAS MONICA NICULESCU -3.5 COVERS EASILY - WE HAVE 8 WTA BETS TODAY AND THIS IS THE NEXT WE ARE GIVING FOR FREE - HOPEFULLY YOU ARE ALL MAKING ENOUGH TO GET ON THE FULL SERVICE!! —————— To be honest, we told ourselves that we would be betting Maria Sakkari wherever she showed up next after being eliminated by Naomi Osaka at Indian Wells. At the time we didn’t know that the Japanese girl would go on to win that competition, and maybe she wouldn’t had Sakkari kept going in the final set. Nevertheless, the Greek girl was the only player to take Osaka to three sets, and in earlier rounds she had dusted off Vandeweghe, Barty and Vekic in three sets. Sakkari should be suited by Krunic coming at her, just like when she beat her here in 2016 (7-6 6-1). We can only imagine one winner- and she should cover!

BETTING.ANALYSTT@GMAIL.COM ——————— Monica Niculescu is unbeaten in qualifications this year (7-0), and she looked particularly good when beating Antonia Lottner in the first round (qualification) here. The former number 28 in the world has already beaten the likes of Roberta Vinci, Magdalena Rybarikova, Maria Sharapova this year, and she made the QF of Hobart without dropping a set. Yanina Wickmayer enjoyed a couple of wins at Indian Wells (125K), and qualified and made round two at the masters a week later. However, she was then brushed aside by Dasha Gavrilova in the next, and the way she struggled to beat rank outside Olivia Rogowska in the first round of qualification here suggested she wasn’t going to be making an impact!

BETTING.ANALYSTT@GMAIL.COM —— After watching that bastard RANDALLS UR PET putting is head up in the air and managing to lose yesterdays race by a ‘’short head’’ we are being extra cautious with regards to horse who place but don’t win. With that in mind we looked at the video’s of all ALLARDYCE’s five seconds and four third places. What we saw was a gelding who is often outpaced at the finish, albeit he appears honest enough. A mark of 114 suggests Eddie O’Grady’s six year old is half decent, and we believe he will be good enough to win this. At least the Willie Mullins runner POLY ROCK sets the market up nicely, so we are good to go!
Raptors saw their 11 game winning streak come to an end against Oklahoma City in a highly contentious affair that the Thunder ended up winnin 132-125. While the Raptors have had a day of rest to regroup, we're not sure they will be completely focused here after such an emotional game and with the Cavs on deck the very next night. The Magic are under the radar but it's worth mentioning that they've covered in 3 of their last 6 games and will get Aaron Gordon back tonight after clearing the concussion protocol. We doubt the hosts take this game lightly.
Two of the hottest teams in the league face off tonight as the Portland Trail Blazers, riding a 13 game winning streak host the Houston Rockets who have won 22 of their last 23 games. The only injury concern for either side is James Harden after he endured a hard foul in the Rockets' last game against the Timberwolves but he is expected to suit up tonight. We're simply having trouble coming to terms with these odds given how well the Blazers have been over the last months as they have not only won 13 in a row, but covered in all but 1 of those games. Their defense has been stellar and while, Damian Lillard cooled off a bit against Detroit, he picked it right back up in the final 3 quarters against the Clippers. This is simply not a team that should be an underdog at home in our opinion.
The Knicks finally got back on the winning track against Charlotte on Saturday and much to our pleasure as we recommended going big on the moneyline. A 42 point 3rd quarter outburst was all they needed in a 124-101 shellacking of the Hornets. The Bulls have covered in 4 straight games and won 2 out of their last 4 but it's worth mentioning that those wins came against the Grizzlies and Hawks. Granted, the Knicks are the Knicks but the Bulls will be without Zach LaVine, Lauri Markkanen and Kris Dunn tonight, arguably 3 of their best players. Robin Lopez and Justin Holiday continue to get reduced minutes but even if their workload is increased, the roster for tonight is so devoid of talent even the Knicks should be able to have their way. Bulls won all 3 meetings this year so far so it's likely the hosts don't want to get swept. 5 points shouldn't be too difficult to cover.

SIZINGDOWNTHERHINE has the services of a top amateur jockey, so his chance needs to be respected. With that said, he was beaten by a 109 rated ALLANNAHS GOLD last time out, and that horse was beaten in a point to point next time out. 13 year old ENNISKILLEN was just 1/27 under rules, while QUIET ACCOUNT was only rated 93 during is professional career. CLONDAW FRISBY wins in turn on the pointing field, albeit he appears fairly limited. The one to be on is EDDIES MIRACLE. He wasn’t beaten far last time out, and he’s already beaten both QUIET ACCOUNT and CLONDAW FRISBY this season. Furthermore, he’s now receiving seven pounds from the pair, whereas that win was at levels.
It was a highly charged atmosphere for LSU's first round matchup against Lousiana Lafayette as the coaches got into a war of words during and after the game in what ended up as an 84-76 LSU victory. Perhaps the Tigers had something to prove but we believe ultimately, they have very little interest in the NIT. Utah won their first round matchup against UC Davis but not before their coach was ejected in the 1st half and the Utes had to rally back from down double digits. LSU doesn't usually play at elevation and after a long season, we believe this will make it that much tougher and with questionable motivation, we believe this game itself will be a bit of letdown as Utah has been underwhelming offensively as well.
Central Arkansas was impressive in their overtime win over Seattle as they got their first postseason tournament win in their school's history. We noticed the Bears made west coast trips earliers in the season with success and there weren't really any signs of a letdown on the return home. Jacksonville St won their 1st round game against Canisius, also in overtime but we feel that the Bears have more at stake here as they look to build on their 1st postseason win and the home atmosphere should provide an extra edge. The Bears love to push the pace and this has shown to bother the Gamecocks a bit as well. Hosts to get their 2nd ever postseason tournament win!
Fair play to Mercer as they made a long trip into a tough environment and came away with a win over Grand Canyon in the 1st round of the CBI. Tonight, they face North Texas, who struggled down the stretch but came up with an impressive win against South Dakota last game. Mercer prefers to slow it down and North Texas generally lets the opponent dictate the pace of the game. Neither team are defensive stalwarts but this looks a few points too high.
The Pistons lost again on Saturday but the red hot Blazers only put up 100 points in a 100-87 loss and it was nice to see coach Stan Van Gundy back up his players by going off on the bad officiating. The Kings have played well for quite some time now and have covered 4 in a row, including an outright win over the Warriors albeit one without 3 of their best players. This is a game the Pistons need if anything for morale's sake and we do want to stress that they are playing hard and the bounces and calls eventually should go their way. The Kings, meanwhile, can be commended for their play but this is really a game that hurts them more to win than lose.
