BEST RACING SERVICE FOR PROFITS

PLUMPTON 1:45 WEST WARHORSE

CLASSIC ANTHEM won well at Sandown, and according to the handicapper, he’s top (120) rated.  Jim Boyle’s gelding is proven on testing ground, and he should have no issues with the extra distance. The only issue I have with the 6-year-old is short odds!

Daire Davis gave ROCK DANCE a good ride to win at Hexham, and his 7-pound allowance will help. The lightly raced 7-year-old is entitled to improve again, it’s just that he’s more likely to place!

WALKS LIKE THE MAN is the only principal who is unpenalized, meaning he’s receiving weight from the others. However, I would rate him around 106, and that wouldn’t be good enough.

The one I like most is WEST WARHORSE. The 6-year-old goes well for 5-pound claimer Alice Stevens, and he showed big improvement to win on his 2nd hurdling start. I would rate his win 118+, and he’s got the potential to go on. Moreover, he should appreciate the track, and he’s priced at fair odds.

PLUMPTON 2:50 ROSE OF ARCADIA

DOM OF MARY is a strong stayer, and he should be at his peak today. David Bridgewater’s 8-year-old is on a fair handicap mark, and he’s at the right end of the weights. To cut a long story short, with a clear run Caoilin Quinn’s mount should be competitive.

Meanwhile, FOXBORO won 7 of his 40 races, and the latest was by 20L win at Exeter. Nevertheless, while a 5-pound rise is fair enough, the fact is he’s never won from such a high handicap mark.

Despite being a novice, SPORTING ACE was a good winner on his 2nd run over fences. The easy ground won’t be an issue, and nor will the extra distance. However, being inexperienced and racing in a big field could be problematic.

GOLD CLERMONT is a strong stayer, but he’s up in class and this level of competition could be beyond him. The same comment applies to Venetia Williams trained 10-year-old ECEPARTI.

I’m going to suggest betting on the 9-year-old mare ROSE OF ARCADIA. Joe Tizzard’s charge ran above herself at Newbury, and she’s even better again at Gaff tracks. The testing ground isn’t a problem, and getting through it will be easier with Freddie Gingell’s 5-pound claim!
