Meanwhile, Following a number of medical issues, Danielle Collins seems to be getting her mojo back. In fact, based on what we have been watching, it’s best to take about the 29-year-old in the present format!
In yesterday’s match against Elina Svitolina, it didn’t take long for the US player to take control. While we accept Svitolina wasn’t having her best day at the office, Collins closed out in good style.
What impressed us most about Danielle was her point-building. She was getting plenty of depth on her shots, and the double backhand was looking better than ever. For the most part, Collins showed good court geography and her serve was solid.
