HEREFORD 1:50 INTERNE DE SIVOLA 7/1

Venetia Williams must be depressed with her stable form! One thing is certain, it would take someone braver than me to get with her GALOP DE CHASSE.

From our perspective, it is good to see him leading the betting because it sets up the market.

Following a disappointing run over hurdles, Alastair Ralph decided it is time to switch RISK D’ARGENT to the bigger obstacles. While the grey should make it into a chaser, the seven-year-old was a beaten favorite in 4 of his last five races.

One that should run better than his odds is GENEROUS DAY. The 11-year-old wins his share of races, and this front-runner is worth a try over the shorter distance. However, while he’s a genuine type I expect one or two of these should be too good.

ROSE SEA HAS isn’t my idea of a natural jumper, albeit the 8-year-old knows how to win. Nevertheless, the grey is one I would want to take on in a competitive race. As for VOLKOVKA, the mare will be suited by a guaranteed strong pace. My main concern with Fergal O’Brien’s mare is she’s inexperienced over fences, and she isn’t sure to get a clear view.

HERETIER is best suited by racing on the undulations of Market Rasen. Whereas, PICCADILLY LILLY will need further.

The one I like most is Jane Williams’ trained INTERNE DE SIVOLA. While things haven’t gone right for the five-year-old in three attempts over fences, he’s got the potential to leave this mark of 122 behind.

To cut a long story short, the selection comes from a stable we like and he’s sure to have been well-schooled following a mishap last time out.
