Ostapenko did at least manage to beat other high-class opponents, namely Danielle Collins and Karolina Pliskova. In 2022, the Latvian won Dubai before making it to the semi-final here, and in 2016 she was a finalist in this tournament.
For the most part, Ostapenko has already reached a good level this season. She’s proven on these courts, and we believe she will be zoned in for the challenge ahead. In a like-for-like match, this is more of a 50/50% call and the value is in betting the Latvian!
