3:00 LORD BADDESLEY 2/1

TAP TAP BOOM 2 of his 3 chase races! Nevertheless, this ex-flat runner doesn’t have much scope, and he did unseat his rider last time out. Also, he’s 4 pounds higher in this category, and the extra distance is unknown!

SHELDON won two of his five races over fences, and one of those was just two races back. While Seamus Mullins’ 7-year-old is better at this game, he’s carrying 9 pounds more than he would over hurdles. Furthermore, he was a beaten favourite last time out, and that wasn’t a very good race.

Meanwhile, DREAMING BLUE started his career on the flat, and he won twice in that sphere before sending him hurdling. In 4 runs over the smaller obstacles, the son of SHOWCASING managed to win at Fontwell.

Since being switched to fences, Sam Twiston-Davies mount finished placed in two of his three races. For the most part, the 6-year-old showed enough to suggest that he will place.

GLOIRE D’ATHON won three of his five races over fences. During the interim, Sarah Humphrey’s gelding was put up 16 pounds. The 7-year-old should put up a bold display, it’s just that I expect LORD BADDESLEY to wear him down!!

Chris Gordon has his string in excellent shape, and the 8-year-old is returning to his favourite track. Not to mention, he dropped to a winnable mark, and the race should be run to suit.
