RACING SPECIALIST SERVICE FOR WINNERS
FFOS LAS 1:25 HO QUE OUI 13/2
This isn’t the best of races, but it still offers a solid betting opportunity.
Following her last race, ASTRA VIA went into the steward’s notebook for a tender ride. While Isabel Williams can’t do any worse, I wouldn’t want to be with the favourite.
RUNASIMI RIVER won 8 of her 27 races, but seven of those were hurdles and the other was an NHF. The 9-year-old waited a long time before making the switch to fences, and we could see why.
In March, this flat bred mare tailed off in her only attempt at a chase. Since then she’s been switched to another stable, but I can’t see that making a difference. To cut a long story short, she doesn’t have the scope to jump into larger obstacles!
HOWDILYOUDO won on her chasing debut by 28L, but she could only follow with a poor 7th of 8. Subsequently, she disappointed in two hurdle races, and on her return to fences was a 25L 3rd of five.
While Jamie Snowden’s 7-year-old is being well-supported for today’s race, she’s got something to prove! While DANCING DANI and KIND WITNESS can’t be totally discounted, both are 5 pounds out of the handicap. In my experience, we shouldn’t be taking on the handicapped assessment.
I am going to suggest taking the youngest runner in the field, namely, HO QUE OUI. The 5-year-old won a claiming hurdler in France, and two races later she finished a close 2nd in a chase. Since arriving in the UK, she hasn’t done much for Alexandra Dunn. Nevertheless, she’s dropped 18 pounds in the weights, and she will strip fitter for a recent pipe opener.
