DONCASTER 5:50 DIVINE COMEDY 7/4
This race doesn’t have much strength in depth, and we are willing to take these lower odds!
At the last meeting here DIVINE COMEDY finished behind DAS KAPITAL. However, the mare suffered a troubled passage, and Pat Cosgrove gave her way too much to do!
Kaiya Fraser takes over the ride today, and this talented 3-pound claimer was the last jockey to win on the Harry Eustace 5-year-old! With that recent run under the belt, we won’t look any further.
DONCASTER 7:50 THE GREEN MAN 8/1
In winning two of his last three races, it is fair to suggest LITTLE MUDDY has been in very good form. However, the 7-year-old is on a career-high handicap mark, and that makes him opposable.
On his seasonal debut, LIVE THE MOMENT made no impression at Musselburgh. Alice Hayne’s inmate did the same last year before progressing in some keenly contested sprints.
From a falling handicap mark, the 6-year-old is expected to do a lot better. However, we might have to wait for one or two more runs before he’s ready to strike.
Meanwhile, THE GREEN MAN should be fully primed. Joseph Parr’s gelding loves this track, and he’s dropped back down to a winning mark. If Daniel Muscott can navigate a clear passage, the 4 year old can put his turn of foot to good use!
