In winning two of his last three races, it is fair to suggest LITTLE MUDDY has been in very good form. However, the 7-year-old is on a career-high handicap mark, and that makes him opposable.
On his seasonal debut, LIVE THE MOMENT made no impression at Musselburgh. Alice Hayne’s inmate did the same last year before progressing in some keenly contested sprints.
From a falling handicap mark, the 6-year-old is expected to do a lot better. However, we might have to wait for one or two more runs before he’s ready to strike.
Meanwhile, THE GREEN MAN should be fully primed. Joseph Parr’s gelding loves this track, and he’s dropped back down to a winning mark. If Daniel Muscott can navigate a clear passage, the 4 year old can put his turn of foot to good use!
