SUNDAY GIVEAWAY – PREMIUM RACING TIPS

CHEPSTOW 2:40 SHOMEN UCHI 6/4

Back in 2021, KYNTARA was a wide-margin winner of a bumper. However, in five races since, Kim Bailey’s runner was beaten at odds of 1/2 1/2 8/13 2/1, and 11/4. Based on the evidence at hand, Kim Bailey’s 7-year-old isn’t one to trust.

GREAT NAME THAT will come into his own when he goes chasing, but for now, he’s a 116-rated hurdler. In my opinion, the 6-year-old is one-paced, and he’s not going to beat SHOMEN UCHI.

The Sam Thomas trained gelding was an impressive winner of a bumper, and his first run over hurdles was a good one! In fact, in that race at Hereford, he was only just touched off by 129-rated HEEZER GEEZER.

Charlie Deutsch’s mount should be best suited to this longer distance, and the soft ground is ideal. Finally, he’s going to benefit from that experience, and as such these odds are more than fair!

CHEPSTOW 3:15 TERRASITA 9/1

The soft ground will put an emphasis on stamina, and that could count against GRIVETANA. For the most part, the Paul Nicholls-trained 5-year-old is consistent and a winner of two races. However, both were over the minimum distance, and this is her first attempt at 2M3.5F.

WELL VICKY keeps winning, and she’s at the right end of the weight scale. Nevertheless, she’s up in higher grade and racing from a 9-pound higher handicap mark. Jonathon Burke is taking over in the saddle, meaning she will be missing the 7-pound claim of her last jockey.

FELICIE DU MAQUIS is another former point-to-point winner that is going the right way. The 8-year-old won both of her hurdle races, and she is proven on the ground. To cut a long story short, my only negative with Tommie O’Brien’s mount is her opening mark of 123.

While she’s not won for a while, TERRASITA is the one that interests me the most. Lucy Wadham’s mare will have the assistance of Bryony Frost, and she’s dropped to a workable mark. With her stable in great form, the 6-year-old is high-value odds!

CHEPSTOW 4:25 KINGCORMAC 11/2

Since switching to fences, BELLS OF STAMFORD won one of his three races. One of them was last time out, albeit that was was win good ground. With his 7-pound penalty, Alan Johns’ mount is worth opposing.

DISCKO DES PLAGES won two of his 23 races, but he’s only 1/14 over fences. Moreover, he fell the last twice, and he needs to prove his confidence is intact. To cut a long story short, he’s a risky proposition at shortish odds!

Joe Tickle trained KINGCORMAC should be forgiven his last run! After all, the 7-year-old appeared to be lame and his jockey pulled him up! Previously, the son of SHIROCCO won well at Hereford, and that was on the ground similar to today!

With just 7 races under his belt, Harry Cobden’s mount can improve further, Lastly, he’s on a workable handicap mark and fair odds!

CARLISLE 3:35 LORD DU MESNIL 11/4

With 6 winners from his last 14 runners, it is fair to say Nicky Richards is going through a golden patch. In this one, the Greystoke trainer will be saddling first-time-visored UNCLE ALISTAIR. This issue we have with the son of MIDNIGHT LEGEND is he’s not won for over 5 years!

RAMSES DE TEILLEE won 8 of his 34 races, and the last of them was just three races back. The grey is 7 pounds higher now, and that’s the part that puts me off his chance.

While he’s hardly prolific, LORD DU MESNIL must have a big chance to land this prize. The 10-year-old is 4 pounds lower than his last winning mark, and he’s back on his favored ground. Lilly Pinchin will be taking off a valuable 3 pounds, and this stiff track will help his cause.
