For the record, she beat another of today’s opponents EPATANTE by a comfortable 3.5L. Nevertheless, while that is supposed to be an even stronger race, it wasn’t!
Subsequently, Rachel Blackmore’s mount was beaten at odds of 4/11, and in February she was easily outpointed in the Irish Champion.
MARIE’S ROCK is more interesting! Moreover, we are surprised to see her at bigger odds than her main rival in the betting market.
Nicky Henderson’s mare was a comfortable winner of last year’s race. Furthermore, she comes into this having won the Relkeel, and that was her best career performance.
Interestingly, the 8-year-old won her last three races at odds of 18/1, 10/1, and 11/2! While she won’t be at those odds today, she’s still the value!
To cut a long story short loves the track and she’s going to be fully primed for the challenge ahead.

MOONLIGHT GLORY won his last race, but that was over hurdles! While Brian Hughes’s mount is 5 pounds lower in this sphere, I believe he should be lower again!
In fact, considering he was beaten 26L in his last chase, I’m failing to understand his increased handicap mark of 96. After all, on that occasion he was only rated 93, so why the extra 3 pounds?
Meanwhile, MOORE CLOUDS is a bit headstrong, and he’s been running out of steam towards the end of his races.
Nevertheless, Danny McMenamin’s ride is the one they will need to beat. The 8-year-old will attempt to make all, and on a track which suits he’s going to take some catching.
