WTA BUENOS AIRES – ROUND 2

SARA ERRANI vs KATERYNA BAINDL

In yesterday’s match between Sara Errani and Clara Burel, we thought the French player let herself down. Nevertheless, credit needs to be given to Errani for coming from a breakdown to win the first set. From then on, it was easy (6/4 6/2) for the 35-year-old.

One thing is certain, the deeper conditions of these courts in Buenos Airies suit the Italian player! Also, that first-round match would have put her spot on for the challenge ahead. We believe Errani must have a fair chance of beating her next opponent Katerina Baindl.

While the Ukrainian comes into this 2nd round match on the back of beating Ipek Oz, she failed to impress. In fact, she required 3 sets to land the short odds.

To be fair, Baindl is she might be feeling the effects of Colina. The 28-year-old made it to the final of that tournament but was outstayed by Mayar Sherif.

Betting is about the odds, these are great!

WTA BUENOS AIRES – ROUND 2

ANN LI vs VICTORIA JIMENEZ KASINTSEVA

Ann Li hasn’t had the best of years! Consequently, following a 15/18, the 22-year-old saw her rank slip from a career-high of 44 to 138.

Li has a fair strike rate on clay, it’s just that we don’t believe she’s best suited to this surface. Also, yesterday’s 7/5 6/0 win against Reka-Luca Jani shouldn’t be overrated. After all, her opponent is paying for a long season, and once she fell behind the tank was running on empty.

Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva won her opening round match 6/0 6/2. The 17-year-old didn’t take long to find her rhythm, and she handled the conditions particularly well!

Kasintseva is progressing nicely, and she started this week with a career-high rank of 122.

Take the youngster from Andorra to win – confident bet!
