ARANXTA RUS vs DESPINA PAPAMICHAIL
In 2020, Arantxa Rus beat Iga Świątek in the first round of Rome. And, in qualifying she had beaten Liudmila Samsonova and Time Babos.
Rus wins 67.2% of her clay matches, and she’s 13/4 on this surface during the current year. Incidentally, 11 of those wins came in straight sets, and that’s in line with her overall record.
While Despina Papamichail will be suited by the surface, her recent efforts leave a lot to be desired!
