2:10 ATOMISE 9/2

PRISCILLA’S WISH is in the form of her life. In fact, the ADAAY daughter won her last three races and progressed from a mark of 51 to 64. While Philip McBride’s 4-year-old won her last four races on the good-firm ground, she’s also won on soft.

Nevertheless, a couple of factors will count against her today, with the most obvious being the drop to 6 furlongs. The last time she ran over this distance was on her sixth start, and since then she’s raced at 7F or a mile. Also, the mount of Harry Davies is stepping up to class five, and she’s on a career-high handicap mark.

BREACH will have the assistance of Luke Morris, and on her recent 4/10, she should be thereabouts. However, I need to point out that her win was on the all-weather, and she would prefer that surface.

RABAT won two of her three last races, and one of them was over this course and distance. Consequently, she’s been defying the odds but doesn’t have much more scope.

If I had to pick one that was over 10/1 to get placed it would be HEER’S SADIE. Her jockey Mollie Philips is worth her 5-pound claim, and she’s won off a 6-pound higher mark.

With that said, I readily prefer ATOMISE. The key to Charlie Fellowes filly winning is the drop back in distance and a strong pace. Getting Jamie Spencer to ride the filly is another positive, and any give in the ground will be welcome. In short, the 3-year-old is on a fair mark, and this race is winnable.
