BAYERN vs REAL MADRID: SEMI-FINAL

In the previous round, both teams successfully overcame challenges from Premier League opponents. Real Madrid tactically outmanoeuvred Manchester City, showcasing resilience to secure victory. Despite facing considerable pressure from Arsenal, Bayern Munich, under the guidance of coach Thomas Tuchel, maintained their composure and ultimately clinched the winning goal.

In the German Bundesliga, Bayern Munich’s season has been one to forget. Despite winning the last eleven titles, they’ve been overshadowed by Bayer Leverkusen. With just three rounds left, Tuchel’s team trails the soon-to-be-crowned champions by 12 points. The gap could have been wider if Leverkusen hadn’t eased off the gas pedal!

Due to a poor League season, Tuchel will be replaced as the head coach at the season’s end. It’s worth noting that the former Chelsea and PSG manager brought in Harry Kane. With 35 league goals, the England captain dominates the Bundesliga Golden Boot race. However, the Bayern boss has faced misfortune with his other players, particularly in the goalscoring aspect.

During the season Bayern have struggled with missing players. On that note, the situation is improving, and one player available tonight is Alphonso Davies. As for confirmed absentees, the hosts are without Kingsley Coman, Sacha Boey, Bouna Sarr, and Tarek Buchmann. In yesterday’s press conference, the Bayern coach suggested Matthijs de Ligt was a doubt, and he was waiting for medical reports on some of the other players.

Meanwhile, with only 5 games left, Real Madrid holds an 11-point lead over Barcelona in the Spanish La Liga. The last time Carlo Ancelotti’s team suffered a defeat in regular time was on September 24th, a staggering 7 months ago! It’s safe to assume that Los Blancos are on track to be crowned champions.

Despite Ancelotti implementing changes to his lineup over the weekend, Real Madrid secured a 1-0 victory against Real Sociedad. Returning for today’s match are another top English striker, Jude Bellingham, along with Rodrygo and Ferland Mendy. Additionally, Thibaut Courtois has rejoined the squad. David Alaba remains the club’s sole injured player, while Dani Carvajal is suspended.

The most successful club in Champions League football is looking formidable, and we anticipate Real Madrid to emerge victorious in tonight’s match!
