EMMA RADUCANU vs VIKTORIJA GOLUBIC – BETTING PICK
Considering her lack of experience, Emma Raducanu did well on clay. In Stuttgart, that 4/6 4/6 defeat to Iga Swiatek was highly respectable. Furthermore, she beat Martincova and Kostyuk in Madrid and Martincova in the Bille Jean.
As with most Brits, Raducanu can be trusted to play grass. In fact, she made the 4th round of last year’s Wimbledon, with Vondrousova and Cirstea being amongst the victims.
Emma says she’s fitter now than she was for the clay season. Her blisters have gone, and her back isn’t bothering the 19-year-old.
Viktorija Golubic likes her visits to the UK, and for a baseline, she’s half-decent on the surface. If we go back to last season, the Swiss player went 9/4 on grass. For the record, she was a finalist in both Eastbourne and Wimbledon!!
During the last campaign, the 29-year-old was flying. Moreover, on the back of her season 48/22, Golubic reached a career-high rank of 35. However, during the current year, she’s carrying a negative balance (10/13), and losing to Katie Volynets in Paris was a real low!
While margins are tighter on fast surfaces, we still expect the crowd favourite to be up for this.
