HORSENS vs LYNGBY – BETTING TIP

DENMARK SUPERLIGA

Newly promoted Horsens didn’t waste any time in causing a big upset. In their first game of the Danish Superliga season, ACH won at reigning champions FC Copenhagen!

In that match, despite just 28% possession, Jens Berthel Askou’s team found the back of the net twice. Unfortunately, the first of those goals was struck off for being offside, and on 40 minutes FCK suffered the same fate. Nevertheless, that misfortune didn’t deter the Yellow Danger, and on 62 minutes Musonda buried the winner.

If we go back to the previous season, the hosts could only finish fourth in the 1st Division. However, that was enough to make the playoffs and the rest of his history! By the way, during that last campaign, Horsens took more points away (17-23)!

Horsens showed plenty of determination against FCK, but they were a little fortunate with the result. In our opinion, ACH faces a big challenge at this level, and they will need to strengthen their 20-man squad.

Meanwhile, Lyngby was promoted at the end of the 2018/19 season and then relegated at the end of the 20/21 campaign. As with Horsens, the visitors are newly promoted after finishing 2nd in last season’s main league!

Interestingly, Horsens won both ‘’promotion group’’ games against today’s opponent. Whereas, during the main season both teams won the away match!

On the contrary to today’s opponent, Lyngby manager Freyr Alexandersson is working with a big 31-man squad. Since being promoted, the Vikings added Andreas Bjelland (FCK) and Mathias Kristensen. The latter scored in last week’s draw with Silkeborg, but Bjelland was injured in the same match.

In conclusion, the visitors look better equipped for the season ahead. From our analytical assessment, Lyngby has more strength in depth and they can show that tonight!
